BTS V’s Stalker Receives Restraining Order: No Approach Within 330 Feet

A woman who stalked BTS V (28, real name Kim Tae-hyung) has been ordered not to approach within 100 meters (approximately 330 feet).

According to the police and Big Hit Music, on the 27th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul apprehended a woman in her 20s, identified as Ms. A, around 6:30 PM the previous day under the suspicion of stalking for attempting to approach V at his home in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Ms. A has reportedly visited V’s home on multiple occasions in the past. The police are investigating whether the woman who previously attempted to hand over a marriage registration form to V is the same individual as Ms. A. The police have decided on an ’emergency response measure’ that prohibits Ms. A from approaching within 100 meters (approximately 330 feet) of V and contacting him via phone or message.

Upon hearing the incident, V left a message on the fan community platform Weverse saying, “I’m okay. Don’t worry.”

Big Hit Music stated, “We are responding with a zero-tolerance policy towards stalking crimes that infringe on the artist’s privacy and threaten their safety.”
