During his visit to San Francisco, USA, President Yoon Seok-yeol attended the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit dinner held at the Legion of Honor Museum on the 16th (local time) with First Lady Kim Geon-hee.
The President and the First Lady, along with the heads of member countries and their spouses, sat across a long table and exchanged pleasantries.
In particular, U.S. President Joe Biden, sitting next to Thai Prime Minister Seta Tawisin, mentioned that President Yoon had sung “American Pie” at a White House dinner in April, saying, “President Yoon gave a wonderful performance when he visited the United States as a state guest,” according to Kim Eun-hye, the public relations chief, who gave a local briefing.
On either side of President Yoon and his wife sat Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Peruvian President Dina Boluarte, while President Biden and Prime Minister Seta sat across from them.
