She added, “I am grateful that Rosé accepted my invitation to join us today, and I am thankful to the First Lady Kim Geun-hee for supporting my efforts.” On the same day, Rosé shared her experiences of living a life in the spotlight and the vulnerabilities she felt when receiving criticism, according to the Associated Press.
Rosé said, “I always feel like whatever I do is never enough. No matter how hard I try, there will always be someone who has their own opinion or enjoys controlling the narrative about me.” She added, “No matter how hard it is, it’s important to talk about these things. Just like we eat food for physical health and fitness, we need to pay attention to mental health as much as, if not more than, physical health.”
Jill Biden added, “Too often, we hide, keep secret, and ignore these (mental health) issues, but we can start healing when we expose and talk about them honestly.”
