This F1 Grand Prix is the world’s top car race held in Las Vegas for the first time in 41 years. Spectators watched racing videos and more through Samsung Electronics displays installed throughout the stadium.

The most notable part is the F1 logo-shaped LED signage installed horizontally on the rooftop of the F1 stadium building, with a total area of about 28,134 square feet.

Samsung’s smart LED signage, with a maximum brightness of 8,000 nits, is about 482 feet long, longer than a soccer field.

In addition, LED signage was installed on the exterior wall of the F1 building, three large spectator screens, entrances, and some racing sections.

The total number of LED modules supplied by Samsung Electronics to this F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is about 25,000, which is long enough to go around the Las Vegas F1 track (about 3.85 miles) two and a half times.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is showcasing its advanced display technology at major sports stadiums in the U.S., including the home stadium of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, ‘Chase Center’, and the home stadium of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and Chargers, ‘SoFi Stadium’.

Kyungsik Choi, President of Samsung Electronics North America, said, “We will continue to showcase the highest level of display technology not only in sports stadiums but also in outdoor advertising and various events.”
