The Workers’ Party newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, published a 58-page long manuscript titled “The Great Power Leading Korea” by Dong Taekwan on June 6th.

The newspaper praised Chairman Kim with expressions that went beyond the norm, such as “Great Kim Jong Un Korea”, “Kim Jong Un, the greatest in the world”, “Eternal great man”, “The bravest and the strongest man of will”.

The newspaper self-answered that it was thanks to Chairman Kim’s ‘excellent and sophisticated leadership’ that North Korea was able to achieve a powerful force and dynamic transformation, becoming the center of world attention and an axis of international political dynamics, despite the unprecedented trials that Korea and the Korean people are experiencing.

After listing Chairman Kim’s large-scale construction projects and parades, the paper praised his creative view that “anything that is put out in this era must be the most excellent and perfect”.

The newspaper also claimed that “the genius and extraordinary nature of Kim Jong Un, a great thinker and strategist, far surpasses the limits of human intelligence”.

The newspaper continued to praise, saying that “the basic core of revolutionary leadership lies in the omnipotence of Juche thought” and “the ability to rally everyone together and overcome severe trials and boldly open the breakthrough to victory is the outstanding political skill and seasoned leadership art possessed by the Secretary”.

In particular, the newspaper emphasized that “the Secretary’s extraordinary foresight and sophisticated leadership art are passionately working” in continuing nuclear development despite international concerns and warnings, such as “the country’s nuclear power has rapidly increased with the power of the Party’s revolutionary industry, firmly reaching the world’s strongest”, and “the realization of the constitutionalization of the nuclear power strengthening policy is a special event”.

The newspaper also listed the test launch of the Hwasong series intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), super-large multiple rocket launcher, various nuclear weapons in the air and underwater, tactical nuclear attack submarine, and visit to Russia as Chairman Kim’s achievements.

The Rodong Sinmun’s editorial is an abbreviation of ‘political commentary’, a format not found in other countries’ media.

Dong Taekwan, a representative ideologue in North Korea, is evaluated for systematizing the ‘Strong Country Theory’ of Chairman Kim’s father, Chairman Kim Jong Il, and announcing editorials.

North Korea has introduced him as a person who has made an outstanding contribution to demonstrating the power of united Korea to the world by publishing numerous editorials with the spirit of the times and strongly calling for the implementation of party policies by the army and people.
